Check this craziness out! After collaborating with Gotham Green and Quickie Mart for their new album Haze Diaries volume 3, I asked them if they’d remix my original song, “Dirty Filthy Liar.” They not only killed it on the remix, the ended up including it as a bonus track on the final HDv3 release. We then hooked up with the amazing team at Vedros Motion, and they came through with the awesome video for “Tell Me Something.” Not willing to stop there, they went right ahead and made this crazy hotness, which ties in to the previous video. So a very special thanks to director Nicholas E. Vedros, cinematographer Michael Stine, producer Jay Tauzin, and the Piano Bar in Hollywood for letting us shoot there. Oh yeah, and did I mention that Haze Diaries v. 3 is currently in the top 5 on the CMJ hip-hop charts? Yeah, that’s right. Apparently this means I’m hardcore now – ha!!!
Could this day have been any better? Methinks no. A very special thanks to Jon Meredith for following me around all day at the Lilith Fair in Irvine, CA on July 10th, 2010 and then making this awesome video. Cameos include: Sarah McLachlan, Emmylou Harris, Brandi Carlile, Miranda Lambert, my dad, Jackie Tohn, Jesse Thomas, and my awesome band Kiel Feher (drums), Devin Hoffman (bass) and Andrew Doolittle (guitar).
