Lilith Fair Los Angeles 2010!!!

I have some EXTREMELY EXCITING NEWS to share with you…I’m performing at the Los Angeles Lilith Fair on Saturday July 10th!!!  Artists such as Sarah McLachlan, Emmylou Harris, Miranda Lambert, The Weepies and Brandi Carlile are part of the lineup, so this is one of the most glorious honors I’ve ever received in my life.  Thanks to Ourstage.com for holding the Lilith Contest - I was up against some pretty awesome talent and was just happy to finish among so many great acts. This win is such a surprise - I just can’t believe it! I WON I WON I WON!!!

After finishing in the top 20 on Ourstage.com, I was selected by a panel from Lilith Fair to perform at the Los Angeles show.  Ummmm, this is kind of HUGE!!!  I remember being 14 years old and thinking “Dammit, I wanna play at the Lilith Fair!”  As it turns out, dreams do come true.  Thanks to everyone who spent hours and days and months voting and getting me into that top 20 - you make my heart sing with delight and joy and dance around in little circles!  For a complete lineup of performers and ticket info, head to www.lilithfair.com and have a look-see, see?

“Jes and Friends” Summer Series

Hooray!  It’s that time of year again - lemonade, slip ‘n slides, and barbeques - all the things that make summer great.  And if you’d like to cool off while listening to some great live, indie acoustic music, join me and a new special guest every show, 1st  and 3rd Thursdays at Cafe Muse in Hollywood.  The show is free, the food is delicious, and we are kicking off the season with my friend and co-writer, Keith Varon!  We’ve been writing up a storm lately, and we will share our tunes as well as do some sweet harmonizing for you this Thursday, June 3rd.  The show always starts at 9pm sharp, and you can check my shows page for all details and special guests.  See you this summer at Cafe Muse - 6547 Santa Monica Blvd, Hollywood, CA - 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 9pm!
